    Mobi Print Command Guide

    Mobi Print has a command function under the Print Utilities that allows users to perform “Set”, “Get”, and “Do” commands or referred to as SGD. Below is the compiled commands that can be done through the Mobi Print app’s Print Utilities Section.

    Do Commands

    Do commands can be used to instruct the printer to perform predefined actions.

    Command:

    device.reset Instructs the printer to perform a soft reset
    device.restore_defaults Restores factory default values
    file.delete Deletes printer files
    file.print Printer contents of printer files
    file.rename Rename printer files
    file.run Execute a batch file or label file stored in the printer’s file system
    file.type Retrieve contents of a file
    test.feed Advance media to top-of-form
    test.print_diags Print a diagnostics report
    test.report_diags Retrieve a diagnostics report from the printer
    ip.ping_remote Ping a specified address “x” number of times
    ip.snmp.create_mib Creates a file of the printer’s MIB


    Set Commands

    Set commands can be used to set the parameter values for your printers.

    Command:

    comm.parity Set the printer’s comm. Parity setting. Use “n” for none, “e” for even or “o” for odd
    comm.baud Set the printer’s baud rate Use “9600”, ‘19200”,”38400”, “57600”,  or ‘115300”
    comm.stop_bits Set the printer’s comm. port stop bits Use “1” or “2”
    device.friendly_name Set the printer’s friendly name Use up to 16 characters in quotes
    display.contrast Set the printer’s contrast level Use “up”, “down”, or “0” through “14”
    display.backlight Turn on or off the backlight Set using “on” or  “off”
    display.text Change the displayed text Use up to 80 characters in quotes.
    input.capture Set the type of data capture for diagnostics Use “print”, “run”, or “off”
    media.sense_mode Select the media sense mode Use “bar” or “gap”
    media.tof Select the top-of-form distance Use any “0” through “119”
    media.type Set the media type being used Use “label” or “journal”
    odometer.user_label_count Set the number of labels printed already Use a value from “0” to “65000”
    power.dtr_power_off Change the remote print power control Use “on” or “off”
    power.inactivity_timeout Change the inactivity timeout Use values “0” through “65535”
    power.low_battery_timeout Sets the time of low battery timeout Use values “0” through “65535”
    bluetooth.authentication Sets authentication on for password entry Use “on” or “off”
    bluetooth.discoverable Make the printer discoverable Use “on” or “off”
    bluetooth.friendly_name Set a friendly name Up to 16 characters within quotes
    ip.dhcp.enable Change the DHCP settings Use “on” or “off”
    ip.ftp.enable Change the FTP settings Use “on” or “off”
    ip.gateway Set the gateway address Use a valid gateway address
    ip.http.enable Turn the HTTP protocol on & off Use “on” or “off”

    wlan.encryption_index Set the encryption key index Use ‘1”, “2”, ‘3”, or “4”
    wlan.encryption_key1 Sets 1st WEP encryption 10 hexadecimal characters for 40-bit & 26 hexadecimal characters for 128-bit
    wlan.encryption_key2 Sets 2nd  WEP encryption 10 hexadecimal characters for 40-bit & 26 hexadecimal characters for 128-bit
    wlan.encryption_key3 Sets 3rd WEP encryption 10 hexadecimal characters for 40-bit & 26 hexadecimal characters for 128-bit
    wlan.encryption_key4 Sets 4th WEP encryption 10 hexadecimal characters for 40-bit & 26 hexadecimal characters for 128-bit
    wlan.encryption_mode Sets type of WEP encryption Use “off”, “40-bit”, or “128-bit”
    wlan.essid Set the eSSID to ZebraNet 26 character text string
    wlan.leap_mode Set the LEAP mode Use “on” or “off”
    wlan.leap_password Set the LEAP password 4-32 ASCII characters
    wlan.leap_username Set the LEAP username 0-32 ASCII characters
    wlan.operating_mode Set network-mode to infrastructure Use “ad hoc” or “infrastructure”
    wlan.power_save Set the value of the power save mode Use “off”, “1”, “2”, “3”, “4”, or “best”

     

    Get Commands

    This kind of command is used to retrieve the information from the printer’s parameters.

    appl.version Printer application version as a 4-digit (hex) number

    wlan.encryption_index Set the encryption key index
    wlan.encryption_key1 Gets 1st WEP encryption
    wlan.encryption_key2 Gets 2nd  WEP encryption
    wlan.encryption_key3 Gets 3rd WEP encryption
